Atlantic City’s Untapped Potential

0

With so many projects and huge events happening in the forefront of trying to revive Atlantic City, we all tend to overlook some of the little guys. With the help of these small businesses, we can bring back a little originality that this city once had. Here are a few that even some of the longest-tenured locals might not even know about.

We Deliver

wedeliver
We Deliver is a convenience service developed by good friends of mine that delivers your favorite dishes and retail items from any restaurant or store. We Deliver has pulled me out of tight situations by bringing me breakfast on a snow-filled Sunday morning. When I was unable even to get out of my bed, We Deliver was able to drop off items where they were otherwise incapable of being delivered. They are a great lifeline to have.

Palace Outfitter’s Tubing

Palace Outfitter’s Tubing
Every year my friends and I come together with people in the industry and throw one hell of a tubing trip. We are talking about 50+ tubes flowing down a wild, scenic river with several tubes dedicated to booze alone. Palace Outfitter’s definitely is a commodity that a lot of people tend to overlook. Although this treat is only available in the summer time, it’s definitely worth the wait.

Ventnor Coffee

Ventnor Coffee
Ventnor Coffee is my personal favorite “best kept secret” here in the Atlantic City area. Ventnor Coffee has a NYC/Brooklyn feel to it, with the building itself being a refurbished garage. Having weekly jazz and open mic nights creates a very relaxing atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. I am very thankful to Ventnor Coffee for making my winter bearable.

Perfectly Innocent Amusement Co.

Perfectly Innocent Amusement Co.
Having different bar concepts come and go within the same building, this throwback concept seems like it would be sticking around for a long time. Perfectly Innocent Amusement Co. offers fun and creative menu items paired with rare brews and old school arcade games. It makes a great option for date night. You are very welcome.

The Moon Beast

The Moon Beast
The Moon Beast was founded by Monique Colon. She uses it as an outlet to express herself on different platforms. Having her hand in local brands such as Art Before Crime and The Culprits gives her the ability to visually create anything she puts her mind into. You can check out her art gallery, which is set up in Arts Garage located at Tanger’s Outlet. She actively is working on taking her vision and dreams to the next level and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.
